The war between the Lords of Order and Chaos has moved from the shadows into the streets of Atlantis.

• The Fall of the Golden Gate: The city of Atlantis itself begins to suffer. The "Golden Gate," the symbol of the empire's power, is physically crumbling under the weight of the magical onslaught.
• Lady Chian’s Stand: As the world literal falls apart, Chian leads the "Dark Guard" in a desperate defense of the palace. This issue highlights her evolution from a bodyguard to a general of a dying empire.
