• The Atmospheric Horror: Jan Duursema utilizes heavy shadows and stone textures here. The "Tower" is as much a character as the villains, filled with traps that are triggered by magical energy.
• Lady Chian's Resolve: This issue features a standout moment for Chian, who must navigate the "Silence of the Dead." Her lack of magical ability, usually a disadvantage, becomes her strength as she is immune to the "magic-dampening" fields of the tower.
