The Plot: "The Valley of the Lost"

Arion is physically and mentally drained after his encounter with the awakening gods. To recover and find a new source of power, he leads his small band of allies into a region of Atlantis that even the most daring explorers avoid.

• The Forbidden Zone: The "Valley of the Lost" is a pocket of land where time and magic behave erratically. It is inhabited by the "Forgotten Ones," spirits and creatures left over from an even older age than Arion’s.
• Psychological Warfare: The Valley preys on the traveler's memories. Arion is forced to face visions of his parents and his youth, making him question if his quest to "save" Atlantis is actually a pursuit of ego.
• Chian’s Combat: Lady Chian finds that her physical weapons are less effective in this ghost-like environment. She has to rely on her "iron will" to keep her and Wyynde from being pulled into the Valley's illusions.
