The Storyline

• The Prism Prison: Arion is caught in a crystalline dimension where his spells are refracted and distorted. It’s a literal "hall of mirrors" for a sorcerer.
• The Cost of Magic: This issue emphasizes that Arion's power isn't free. To escape the crystal, he has to sacrifice a portion of his "Life-Light," a recurring concept in the series that keeps Arion from feeling like an all-powerful, boring god.
• Lady Chian's Leadership: While Arion is dimension-hopping, Chian is on the ground in the "real" Atlantis, dealing with the political fallout of Arion's absence and the encroaching influence of the Dark Lords.
